Missouri Headwaters State Park
          Near Three Forks, Montana
   
 
Here the Madison, Jefferson and Gallatin Rivers, named by Lewis and Clark, form the mighty Missouri River.  The state park was established in 1951 and features interpretive trails along the riverbanks and bluffs.  History and Photos.
