MALTA AREA TOUR
Malta and the surrounding area is a wonderful place for learning and experiencing history.  It is the county seat for Phillips County Montana and is rich in railroad, cattleman, mining and outlaw history.  Malta has the privilege of being internationally unique because of the many dinosaurs that have been unearthed in just the last few years.  This small, historical town is home to the famous "Leonardo,"  heralded by the Guinness Book Of World Records as the best preserved dinosaur ever discovered.  You can see Leonardo and other dinosaur specimens in the Judith River Dinosaur Institute Field Station in downtown Malta and the nearby Phillips County Museum.  There are many little "nooks" in Phillips County that provide insights into the birth of Montana.   This tour will be a time of historical adventure and discovery.

Beginning at the Phillips County Museum, these tours will include the history of Phillips County from the cattleman and railroads to the outlaws.

Reservations are recommended but are not required.  When you arrive in town, stop in at the Phillips Country Museum and ask for the "History Montana People."
